CKB Logistics Appointed as Bonded Logistics Center (PLB)

President Joko Widodo has officially inaugurated the operation 11 Bonded Logistics Centers (PLBs) across a number of regions in Indonesia. The inaugurated held at CKB Jakarta Mega Hub on 10 March 2016 and participated by Minister of Finance, Bambang Brodjonegoro, Minister of Communications and Informatics Rudiantara and Customs & Excise Facility Director Robi Toni along with other government officials.

 PLB is one of several government policies namely the Economic Policy Volume II issued by the President on September 2015, whereas the new PLBs operations are expected to reduce logistics and transportation costs and thus improve the competitiveness of the Indonesian products and industry as well as creating Indonesia to become logistics hub for Asia Pacific.

President Director of CKB Logistics, Iman Sjafei said CKB received the PLB’s certification due to its readiness and optimum security and safety track record. In addition to latest technology of warehouse inventory the company also certified with AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) status.  Iman is optimistic that the company could excel and become the leading logistics solution provider in South East Asia.
